Located in the Zenith Hall, around 60 of the world's best denim weavers and finishers present their latest developments for the season under the motto TisT - Tomorrow is Today, - providing an early look at what autumn/winter 2013/14 holds in store. The Green Zone is the green artery of the denim world and provides insight on environmentally friendly manufacturing and finishing techniques. R.M.S. dpt. - Ready Made Solutions - places an emphasis on flexibility and rapid execution and provides a single focal point for the full-package portfolios of well-known denim makers.
MOOD + LOOK + COLOURS + FABRICS
Visionary architecture, Modern Street Art and design in public spaces inspire the world of denim and casual wear. “Street and Art” have made a pact of beautification. Artists consider themselves as creative street fighters and move through the grey urban streetscape to bring new life to even the most hidden corner and give the last paving stone a polished sheen. They are not there to create flat images but to install artworks with textural qualities and real three-dimensionality. Glossy and shimmering elements are used consciously as contradictions to the usual Urban Art.
The rebellious underground scene with its explosive free spirits of Rock, Punk, Rap and Hip-Hop appears in daylight and finds new forms with its powerful elements. Stylistically, this is a mixture of a forward-thinking look towards the past with technical surfaces and 80s and 90s looks.
