The first personal badges for MUNICHFABRICSTART – your admission ticket to the 12/13 Autumn/Winter fashion season – are on their way. We look forward to seeing you and have prepared a programme packed with trends, information and innovations for you yet again.

The new fashion season is defined by "DETAILORING". Even for jeanswear a focus on details and expert craftsmanship characterise the design promoting individuality and special features. However, utopia now also stands a chance again while instinct is also in demand.

This and much more can be seen in the collections of over 800 registered exhibitors from 36 countries – as many as ever. There are 65 new exhibitors to be discovered, spread across all segments of the trade fair. Accordingly, all four halls of the M,O,C, are fully occupied as are the Atriums and Studios up to the second storey. Among 1,300 collections you will find the world’s best in mainstream and high fashion as well as products and services for full imports and support for eco-certification. The BLUEZONE presents 54 of the world’s best denim weaving mills and finishing plants now also including TRC Tessitura di Robecchetto Candiani (I), US Denim Mills (PK) and Realteks (TR). Since last season this zone has already had its sights on the distant future. TisT, Today is Tomorrow, marks a turning point with some denim weavers selectively exhibiting initial developments for Summer 2013 even at this early stage.

You can now already order our colour card and the exhibition catalogue ensuring that you come prepared. The publications will be delivered to you right on time hot off the press, i.e. approx. ten days before the trade fairs.

Collections:
The largest segment at MUNICHFABRICSTART has grown yet again now boasting over 500 exhibitors. In the Studios and halls you will meet the "crème de la crème" of Italian and Swiss creations, trendy high-tech and sportswear materials at their best and, hence, the pooled fabric creativity of the European textile industry for woven and printed products. These ranges are complemented by the Asia Salon for top companies from Asia and the 171 leading international experts for additionals in Halls 1 and 2.
BLUEZONE goes green:
Now the BLUEZONE also has its own Green Zone featuring eco-oriented and sustainably produced denim and flat-woven fabrics alongside denims certified based on the organicselection concept of MUNICHFABRICSTART. This means that the BLUEZONE is now also linked to the central point of contact for trendy "green fabrics", the areas organicselection and ECO Village at M,O,C,, where both national and international experts will be at your service again in word and deed. However, the Green Zone deliberately extends the strict organicselection to include other also interesting and market-driven "green" approaches thereby meeting RTW producers’ varying needs.
Asia Accessories
At the Asia Salon 74 companies will present the latest from Asian textile labs. NEW here is the separate area Asia Accessoires in Studio C 112, where six additionals specialists are featured. Remember: in the immediate vicinity you will find the Showrooms offering services related to full imports.
