With around 500 samples, the area for innovative Fabrics and Additionals that are bio-certified, bio-based, recycled, recyclable or from regenerative sources has once again grown significantly compared to previous seasons.<\/p>\n

What is KOMBINAT?<\/h2>\n

KOMBINAT is an idea. This idea is centered around a group of enthusiasts who have set themselves the crazy goal of bringing hemp materials back into the textile mainstream. Why? Because we believe in practical solutions, solid craftsmanship, and that in today\u2019s world, it\u2019s still possible to do things your own way, going against the current. <\/p>\n

Hemp fiber has been out of circulation for a long time \u2013 in our opinion, far too long. We also believe that the world simply needs a healthy counterbalance to the omnipresent plastic, the flood of junk, and the fast-fashion movement, which, to put it mildly, is not our cup of tea. <\/p>\n

Our philosophy is balance \u2013 we are aware that we will never be perfect, one hundred percent ecological, and satisfying absolutely everyone\u2019s needs \u2013 we\u2019re not tomato soup to fit everyone\u2019s taste (if you don\u2019t like tomato soup \u2013 substitute any other soup here) \u2013 we know that our activities won\u2019t save the entire world, and that\u2019s not our goal either. <\/p>\n

A sustainable approach, balance without going to extremes is something that defines us well.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n

Why hemp?<\/h2>\n

Because it works. It\u2019s strong and breathable. Clothes made from it have excellent thermoregulatory properties\u2026 or in human terms \u2013 they \u201cbreathe\u201d. <\/p>\n

Hemp is a fascinating plant \u2013 it\u2019s not without reason that it\u2019s colloquially called a \u201cweed\u201d; it doesn\u2019t need pesticides, excellent soil, and conditions to grow several meters tall. From its fibers, you can create a material that doesn\u2019t need to prove its value \u2013 that has been repeatedly tested in battle throughout our history, both literally and figuratively. Our products not only look good but also don\u2019t wear out after one season. Our clothes are an investment, not a seasonal disposable. <\/p>\n

Hemp fiber is a raw material that doesn\u2019t require intensive chemical processing. It grows quickly, doesn\u2019t deplete the soil, and provides us with a material that is naturally resistant to fungi and moisture. This natural fiber is also bacteriostatic \u2013 it doesn\u2019t promote bacterial growth. <\/p>\n

In a nutshell: hemp textiles are durable, hygienic, and breathable.<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n\n
