The latest MUNICH FABRIC START (3.-5. Sept. 2013) presented itself very successfully with record participation of 950 international exhibitors and thus an increase of about 10% compared to last year. The 35th edition has been a magnate for a striking number of international customers alongside the large majority of German visitors who used the early date of the fair as a kick-off into the new season and as a platform to view the latest collections for Autumn.Winter 14/15.
At the close of the fair organisers were able to post some 18,500 trade visitors. This continues MUNICH FABRIC START’s ongoing positive trend of the past few years as a kick-off event for the new season – despite the turbulent climate affecting the clothing sector in past seasons. Relaxed optimism also prevailed at the latest trade fair – which can be attributed both to the strong domestic market and the wide range of collections from strong market stakeholders from Europe, Turkey and China.
3rd September, first trade fair day. Almost complaisant the warm late summer weather is welcoming the international visitors who will be in Munich for the next three days to source the latest fabric and additionals collections of the upcoming Autumn.Winter season.
