With a carefully selected portfolio and newly staged areas MUNICH FABRIC START will be the earliest European textile trade show to exclusively present the latest fabrics and additionals trends for spring.summer season 2017 from 2 to 4 February 2016.
Marking the 20th anniversary of the trade fair, 950 internationally renowned suppliers from 37 countries will present more than 1,500 fabric and accessories collections for womenswear and menswear as well as denim and sportswear. Among the first time exhibitors are such high-end Italian producers as Cotonificio Ronghi, Dinamo and Ithitex or Tianhai Lace from the US. TheAdditionals segment features new entries such as Green Beef, Dorlet and Voijd Studios for the first time.
According to the organizers, the further strategic development of MUNICH FABRIC START and BLUEZONE is and will be further pursued in the future. This includes the selective extension of market-relevant fabric and findings collections as well as the on-going development of exhibition area design. As a result, and in addition to the relaunch of the DESIGN STUDIOS, which provides an inspiring and aesthetically appealing workshop atmosphere, also the BLUEZONE is presented in a new setting. Brighter, more transparent and light-flooded, the area for denim and sportswear fabrics offers a cross-over between purism and vintage that projects progressive modernity in the adjacent Zenith Hall. Furthermore, and as already announced, the planning and associated launch of the KEY HOUSE concept as an innovation and creativity area are in full swing. Here impetus-generating accents and highlights from the various segments will be on display. "Developing this additional forum on an area of 2,500 square metres now allows us to respond to the current requirements of a global market more offensively and intensely”, says Managing Director Sebastian Klinder. “This is how we create space for concepts and new areas of relevance for the future."
