Arrival
Thanks to its proximity to the motorway, MOC Munich is easily accessible by car, with direct connections to the A9 towards Nuremberg/Salzburg and the A99 towards Stuttgart.
Via the A9 highway:
Take the exit München-Freimann (exit 74), carry on along Heidemannstraße and turn left onto Lilienthalallee after 500 meters. In the Munich metropolitan area, signposts will also help guide you to the MOC.

Use our AIRPORT SHUTTLE service from Munich Airport to MOC Munich. The details and travel times can be found here at a glance:
As an alternative to the shuttle, you can choose two routes from the airport to the MOC using public transport.
LH Bus & U6 – Duration: 55 min: Take the Lufthansa Express Bus from the airport terminal. Buses run every 20 minutes to Nordfriedhof. From there, change to the U6 towards Fröttmaning or Garching-Forschungszentrum and get off at Kieferngarten station. The MOC is a 700 m walk from the station.
S8 & U6 – Duration 1h: S8 from the airport to Marienplatz stop. Continue with the U6 towards Garching-Forschungszentrum to the Kieferngarten stop. From there it is a 700m walk to the MOC.
The U6 line towards Garching Forschungszentrum runs from the south of the city through the city center directly to Freimann. From there it is a 700m walk to the MOC.
From the main station, you have 3 possibilities to get to the U6:
- At main station, take one of the S-trains in direction Ostbahnhof. Change at Marienplatz stop in the U6.
- At main station, take the U4 in direction Arabellapark. Change at Odeonsplatz in the U6.
- At main station, take the U2 in direction Feldmoching or Messestadt Ost. Change at Sendlinger Tor in the U6.
